TAKASHIMAYA S.C. - DECEMBER 2022

SINGAPORE

The Travelling BTV Express began its sojourn along Singapore’s busiest shopping district—Orchard Road.

A shop installation located in a 25-square-metre space at the intersection of Takashimaya Shopping Centre and Wisma Atria, The BTV Express,Takashimaya S.C. is Beyond The Vines’ original pop-up shop that took place from 2nd to 12th December 2022.

The open-plan kiosk functioned as a pit stop. A place to come & go, to converge & diverge.

Drawing inspiration from the brand’s iconic ‘Blooth & its trademark Engineer’s blue hue, the idea was to design a transient space where people met & parted. Inbuilt with the archetypal crates of Beyond The Vines, these multifunctional storage blocks stacked to construct a counter that showcased products.

With plans for more pop-up stores around the world, The BTV Express, Takashimaya S.C. is the pilot concept for the design studio.
